Description

Classic dressage lines mix with proven jumping blood to produce this convincing colt, whose suave good looks and elegance are just the icing on the cake. With super uphill and elastic ground covering paces he is destined to continue the success of those in his impressive pedigree, whether it be in dressage or jumping.

His Sire CASIRO is the Holstein 1c-premium stallion who exhibits superior qualities with an ideal frame for sport, superb confirmation and high quality movements: uphill canter, spirited trot and relaxed walk. Casiro shows courage, outstanding technique and enormous scope at the fences.

In 2005, he finished an excellent 30-days test in Adelheidsdorf (total score: 8.3; jumping: 8.66). In 2006, 2007 and 2008, he was victorious in several young horse classes and was reserved champion at the Holsteiner championships where he also qualified for the “Bundeschampionat”.

In the following years, Casiro entered into his successful sport career with high placings up to Grand Prix and participated at World Championship for Young Jumpers in Lanaken/BEL. He was presented successfully in high classes by Gerd, Hendrik and Janne.

Casiro competed and won a puissance class when he jumped 2.10m. He also won the first six bar class (in Rastede) he entered.

His Dam Sire DETROIT (by the legend that is DIMAGGIO) was the most expensive colt at the Vechta auction in his day. In 2009 he competed with numerous victories and he was, amongst other things, winner of the riding horse championships in Höven and winner of a qualification for the Bundeschampionate with a score of 8.7. Recently, Detroit has won dressage classes with a new rider, Anna Zibrandtsen, and is now training at the Grand Prix level with Jan Brink. Detroit’s Dam Sire, LORD LIBERTY G was the 1997 I-a main premium winning stallion in Oldenburg.

The great grandam St.Pr./El St Rigesca (by Pascha-Futuro-Radetzky-Agram) produced two licensed sons and the Bundeschampion and top auction horse Goldgraf; her dam Riga is the dam of Telstar who was the Reserve Campion Stallion of the 1985 Oldenburg licensing. This dam line can be followed back to the middle of the 19th Century and originated in Wendland, the stronghold of the Hanoverian jumper breeding.
